Embryo Adoption Cycle Acupuncture Protocol

Preconception Phase (1–2 Months Before Transfer)
Weekly acupuncture treatments regulate hormones, enhance blood flow to the uterus, and help create an ideal environment for implantation.

Stimulation Phase (Concurrent to taking estrogen)
We recommend twice-weekly sessions to build a healthy uterine lining, manage side effects, and support emotional well-being.

Transfer Day
We recommend two treatments within 24 hours—one before and one after transfer—to reduce uterine contractions and support implantation.

By appointment only. You can schedule via phone, email, or schedule online.

Treatments around embryo transfers are available by appointment. Please call 865-315-3845 or email us for more information.

Cancellation Policy: We take special care in finding the best appointment time for your cycle and schedule. If you need to cancel for any reason, please give 24 hours notice. If you are unable to give us this notice, you may be charged a $50 cancellation fee to be paid before your next appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Ideally, we recommend starting acupuncture at least 1 month before your IVF cycle. This allows time to regulate your hormones, improve blood flow to the ovaries, and support optimal egg development. However, starting closer to your cycle can still provide significant benefits.

  • While taking estrogen to prepare your uterus for transfer, we suggest twice-weekly treatments. These sessions increase blood flow to the uterus, improve uterine receptivity, reduce medication side effects, and keep you relaxed throughout this high-stress phase.

  • Yes! We love working with out-of-town families traveling to Rejoice or the NEDC for transfer.
