Acupuncture for Natural Cycle IVF in Knoxville, TN
Natural IVF cycles offer a lower-intervention approach to fertility—using fewer medications alongside your body’s natural rhythm. At the Tennessee Center for Reproductive Acupuncture, we offer acupuncture protocols specifically designed to support these cycles and improve outcomes in a gentle, effective way.
Whether you’re working with a fertility clinic or taking a holistic approach, our acupuncture treatments can help support egg quality, regulate hormones, and enhance implantation—while also reducing stress throughout your cycle.
Why Use Acupuncture During a Natural IVF Cycle?
Acupuncture is a powerful complement to natural IVF cycles. It can help:
✔️ Improve blood flow to the uterus and ovaries
✔️ Support follicle development
✔️ Regulate hormones
✔️ Reduce uterine contractions post-transfer
✔️ Calm the nervous system
✔️ Improve uterine lining receptivity for embryo implantation
With natural and mini-IVF cycles, acupuncture can enhance what’s already working naturally—without adding additional stress.
Natural IVF Acupuncture Protocol
Our treatments are personalized and carefully timed to align with your IVF timeline for maximum benefit:
Preconception Phase - 1–2 Months Before Cycle
Goal: Prepare the body for optimal fertility
Weekly acupuncture helps regulate your menstrual cycle, improve circulation to reproductive organs, and reduce stress—laying the foundation for strong follicle development and hormonal balance.
Stimulation Phase - Cycle Days 1–Retrieval
Goal: Support follicle development and lining quality
During this phase, we recommend twice-weekly sessions to enhance egg maturation, improve blood flow to the ovaries, and promote a healthy uterine lining.
Embryo Transfer Day: within 24 hours before and after transfer
Goal: Improve implantation outcomes
One treatment within 24 hours before and after embryo transfer is focused on reducing uterine contractions, supporting hormonal function, and calming the body to promote embryo receptivity.
Post-Transfer (5–7 Days After Transfer)
Goal: Support early pregnancy and reduce stress
An optional session during the implantation window continues to support an optimal uterine environment and reduce stress during the two-week wait.
